I live north of Austin, Texas with my kittie and my mom. In 2004 I was diagnosed with arthritis and it has become increasingly worse. In 2008, it was discovered that I have a congenital heart defect (surprise!) and in 2012 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Can we say “falling apart”??? I have dealt with major depression all of my life and have been on disability since 1993. I belong to TOPS and had lost a total of 109 lbs. and was the TOPS 2010 Texas State Queen. I struggle to keep the weight off. I just cannot exercise the way that I used to be able to! I am the middle of 5 kids and am close to my 2 sisters (I am the middle one!) I grew up in Maryland and still miss the East Coast, but having been born in Texas, I am a Texan…but I am a Marylander…I love crab cakes…and I love my cowboy boots!
